Here is a video of my daughters spraying water at our dog Sheba-Sheba loves to be squirted with a hose or a squirt bottle. I accidentally loaded this video, but I will leave it on!

Invisible Egg

Our project is Invisible Eggshell. The chemical reaction makes the shell seem to disappear! Acetic acid and calcium carbonate produce carbon dioxide. It takes away some calcium carbonate, the stuff that makes the shell hard, so it becomes soft!

BOOM

Chris and Hunter did a project called BOOM. They dropped Mentos candy into a 2 liter bottle of Diet Coke with a special tube they got from the store. The Mentos candy have tiny little craters on their surface. The carbonation from the Diet Coke attaches to those craters and causes the soda to shoot out so quickly it makes a huge fountain.

balloon rocket

Our project is called The Radical Rocket. A balloon travels on a string when you let the air out. It's about air pressure and how every action has an equal opposite reaction.

Water tornado

My projuct is about air pressure. The air is geting sucked in and it forms the tornado.

Volcano

This is the Acidic Volcano! I used baking soda, vinegar, Dish soap, and red dye! It is really cool. And just to spread the info, I got most of my supplies at Galaxy Science and hobby shop, 1607 N. Richmond st. appleton, WI.

Steady Hands

Our project is called steady hands Mitchell and Justin made it.

You are supposed to get the metal ring to the other side without touching the wire. If you touch the wire, it completes a circuit and lights up a bulb.

We were timing people and the lowest time is 19 seconds by Carlos in 3rd grade.

3 Currents

Today we did the Science fair. Dylan and my project was supposed to make electricity out of oil. It didn't work very well so we used a battery instead.

Lemon Battery

We were trying to make a lemon battery which did not work. I think it did not work because no electrons were going through the wire.

Compass

Matthew made a compass by rubbing needle with a magnet and setting it on a cork in water.

The Automatic 1,000

Feast your eyes, on the, AUTO-MATIC 1000!

It carries the marbles through the tubes, and out into the cup!

What's Heavier?

we had students drop things in to a jar and had the guss if it would sink or on the

different liq. they would stay or float on the liq.
